Looking for a simple, effortless dessert this summer? These No-Bake Strawberry Cheesecake Shooters are bound to be a smash hit at your summer party or BBQ!
Today I’m here to talk to you about cheese. Isn’t cheese such a lovely subject?
I could prattle on about cheese all day long. If there was ever a time when I wasn’t absolutely, madly in love with cheese, I can’t remember it. Cheddar, Gruyere, Swiss, Feta, the newly-found love of goat cheese…
my life-long adoration for foods like chili dogs smothered in cheese, cheese fries, cheesesteaks…
the list goes on and on.
But today we will focus on my love for cheese in its sweetest form: cheesecake. As if it were possible for me to love cake more, someone magically came up with the idea of cheesecake. Sweet, soft, almost custard-like cake on top of buttery graham cracker crust, cheesecake is by far one of my favorite desserts…
which is why I audibly shouted out in glee the first time someone mentioned the words “no bake cheesecake” to me.
You’re telling me I can have all the delightful flavors of cheesecake without all the fuss? Without even turning on my oven?
As a person with a serious sweet tooth who loathes turning on her oven in the middle of August, I knew I had to whip up a no-bake cheesecake of my own. Before I knew what was happening, this No-Bake Strawberry Lemonade Cheesecake was born!
You’ll be absolutely amazed at how easily this recipe comes together. With a few key ingredients, like Kraft PHILADELPHIA cream cheese and Lemon Jello Mix, this sweet and tart dessert can be on your dessert table in no time!
It’s all about the prep work when it comes to this no bake cheesecake. I decided to whip up the strawberry topping and the cheesecake base the night before, which meant the next morning was an absolute breeze. Simply layer all of the components in the glass of your choice; I chose to make adorable cheesecake “shooters”, which are an incredibly fun way to serve little bite-sized desserts at a party or BBQ. Let me make an important note though: try this recipe with the typical shorter, fatter shot glass. I only own these tall skinny ones, and they are sort of a pain to fill. You’ll be much better off with the shorter ones, and you can even pick up cheap plastic ones at the dollar store for a fun presentation!
And as if cheesecake wasn’t enough to be excited about, I’m hosting a fantastic giveaway today! I can’t tell you how excited I was to receive the same prizes I’m giving away to one of my lucky readers:
- A guitar-shaped cutting board
- A Brad Paisley Recipe Book
- A mini grill
